Arsenal could be without as many as four first-team players tonight, with Mikel Arteta’s side’s problems mounting ahead of their game against Southampton, as per the London Evening Standard.
Kieran Tierney has now emerged as a doubt for the contest, with the left-back continuing to suffer with a calf problem.
The Standard say that the Arsenal full-back was due to be assessed by the club’s medical staff this morning, but his involvement tonight is now looking doubtful.
That is a blow to Arsenal, who are already set to be without Pablo Mari, Dani Ceballos and Pierre Emerick Aubameyang.
There is a real chance that had Arteta had the luxury of a fully fit squad to pick from then all four would have started.
However, Arsenal will have to hope that their replacements can do a solid job.

With Tierney out, Ainsley Maitland-Niles looks the most likely starter at left-back, Gabriel could well come in alongside Rob Holding in central defence, while Gabriel Martinelli is likely to start down the left-hand side.
A win for Arsenal this evening would continue their strong form in the league, and could lift them into eighth spot.
