Joao Felix does not want to move to Mikel Arteta’s Arsenal in the January transfer window, according to Gianluca Di Marzio, who has claimed that the Atletico Madrid forward is keen on a transfer to Paris Saint-Germain.
The well-known and well-respected journalist has told SoccerNews that Felix, who can operate as a forward, attacking midfielder or winger, wants to play for PSG.
The defending French champions themselves are keen on the 23-year-old, as they are eyeing young players for the future, according to Di Marzio.
AS reported this week that Arsenal are interested in Felix, while 90min have claimed that Chelsea, Manchester United, Wolverhampton Wanderers and Paris Saint-Germain also want him along with the Gunners.

Di Marzio said: “Arsenal certainly not, because he wants to play for Paris Saint-Germain.
“Atlético Madrid just don’t want to lose him at all and they are asking 130/140 million euros for him! Paris Saint-Germain would be a logical choice if he does leave Atlético.
“After all, there are not that many clubs that can afford to pay him and PSG are interested in young players for the future, so that they can plan for the potential departures of Mbappé or Neymar. Or so that they have a replacement when Messi’s contract expires.”
Blow for the Gunners
If Joao Felix wants to join Paris Saint-Germain, then we do not think that Arsenal will be able to sign the Atletico Madrid forward in the January transfer window.
PSG are one of the biggest and wealthiest clubs in the world who regularly win the Ligue 1 title and compete for the UEFA Champions League.
The chance to play alongside Lionel Messi, Kylian Mbappe and Neymar is tempting for any footballer.
And Felix plays with Cristiano Ronaldo for Portugal.
So, we can understand why the youngster would prefer a move to PSG to a transfer to Arsenal who are only just started to become a force in English football again after years of mediocrity.
