According to Sud Ouest, Bordeaux are keen on signing former Liverpool defender Nathaniel Clyne on a free transfer following his release from Anfield.
Clyne spent five years with the Reds following his £12.5 million move in 2015.
The England international was a regular at Liverpool at first, but injuries saw him fall out of favour on Merseyside and he spent the 2018-19 campaign on loan at Bournemouth.

After his release from Liverpool, Clyne started training at former club Crystal Palace.
Palace boss Roy Hodgson told the London Evening Standard how he was excited to give Clyne the opportunity to potentially earn a deal with the Eagles.
An official return to where it all started out for Clyne, however, has yet to materialise.
Now, according to the latest reports in France, Bordeaux are considering a move for the 29-year-old as a potential replacement for Youssouf Sabaly.
The Russian transfer window is still open until October 17, and Spartak Moscow are keen on Sabaly who is out of contract with Bordeaux in the summer of 2021.
A move to France could be a fresh start for Clyne following years of injury struggles.

After making 37 Premier League appearances for Liverpool in 2016-17, he has only featured for another 20 games in England’s top-flight.
Palace may have opted against adding Clyne after signing Nathan Ferguson from West Bromwich Albion, while 30-year-old Joel Ward remains a dependable option.
