Real Madrid are reportedly keen on signing the Tottenham Hotspur striker.

President of Real Madrid Florentino Perez speaks during a press conference to present their new player Jesus Vallejo at the Santiago Bernabeu stadium in Madrid, on July 7, 2017.

According to a report from Spanish media outlet Don Balon, Real Madrid president Florentino Perez is set to fly to London next week for talks with Tottenham regarding the potential signing of Harry Kane.

The 25-year-old hitman is widely considered to be one of the continent’s most deadly strikers, having scored 140 goals in 213 appearances in all competitions for Spurs.

Kane only recently signed a new six-year contract with Tottenham, thought to be worth around £62.4 million, according to the Telegraph, but in the modern game, that really does count for little.

Whether Spurs would be able to turn down a mega offer from Madrid, though, remains to be seen.

Don Balon claims that Los Blancos are ready to launch a €215 million (£191.5 million) bid for the England international.

The Spanish publication claims that Madrid president Florentino Perez is due to fly out to London next week to begin talks with Tottenham regarding a potential deal for Kane.

The reported fee of £191.5 million will be incredibly hard to turn down for Spurs, especially considering the fact that they have a new stadium to pay for.

Many Tottenham fans will surely be extremely concerned at the prospect of losing Kane, though, and they will be desperate for Daniel Levy to resist Madrid’s overtures for their star man.
