According to reports from The Sunday Mercury (printed edition page 55), Fleetwood Town would accept a seven-figure bid for their left-back Amari’i Bell.

The League One defender is heading into the final year of his contract, and has caught the attention of both Aston Villa and Norwich City.

The 23-year-old has enjoyed a fine campaign following his move from the Blues, and looks set for another switch this summer.

Last season, he has scored three times in 53 games across all competitions for Uwe Rosler’s side, who lost to Bradford in a playoff semi-final.

The report states that Fleetwood Town will accept a seven figure bid, with Norwich City also seemingly keen.

In fact, Norwich have a better chance of snapping him up than Villa. The Report adds that Villa are unlikely to move for him unless they ship out Jordan Amavi.

Furthermore, Neil Taylor will still remain first-choice left-back at the club, and therefore keeping players in the same position doesn’t make much sense, especially for Villa who need to tighten their grip on their finances.
