As per the latest information provided by Veja, as relayed by TEAMtalk, Flamengo are preparing an audacious offer to sign Newcastle target Cristiano Ronaldo.

Just recently, the Portuguese icon left Manchester United, with the club’s website confirming that his contract was terminated after a mutual agreement between both parties.

The 37-year-old’s explosive interview on Piers Morgan Uncensored, criticising United seemed as a ploy for him to leave the club, and it has undoubtedly worked.

In the past couple of days, the Daily Mail have reported that super-agent Jorge Mendes has offered his client to Eddie Howe’s side.

Furthermore, MARCA have claimed that Ronaldo was pondering over whether to join the Magpies as well.

It seems as if a brand-new suitor has joined the race to sign the out-of-contract mega-star.

Flamengo are interested in Ronaldo deal

According to the latest information provided by Veja, as relayed by TEAMtalk, Flamengo are interested in opening talks with Cristiano Ronaldo over a shock switch.

It has been mentioned that the Brazilian giants are keen on a deal to sign the five-time Champions League winner.

While the club are yet to approach the former Real Madrid great, they are prepared to offer him a contract.

In our view: It is practically impossible that Ronaldo joins Flamengo

As Cristiano Ronaldo stated in his interview with Piers Morgan, he takes pride in playing at the highest level at 37.

Keeping that in mind, it is unlikely that he departs Europe at this stage of his career.

With it clearly seeming like the veteran was keen on only joining a Champions League club as well, a move to Flamengo of all sides seems completely out of the question.

Unless Ronaldo believes it is time for him to hang up his boots, which is unlikely, a switch to Brazilian football for him is practically impossible.
