The Everton manager, Marco Silva, is said to have been impressed by Simms.

The young Everton striker, Ellis Simms, has interest from at least five top European clubs, according to The Sun.
Bayern Munich, Borussia Dortmund, Bayer Leverkusen, Monaco and Lyon are each credited with an interest in Simms, who has scored 40 goals for Everton’s Under-18s this season.
The Toffees manager, Marco Silva, is said to have been impressed by the 18-year-old former Manchester City youth and there has been talk of first-team debut soon.
However, that chance might never arrive with Simms’ scholarship deal – which The Sun claims Everton want to turn into a professional one – set to expire this summer, according to the newspaper.
A number of young English-schooled talents, notably Jadon Sancho (Dortmund), Jonathan Panzo (Monaco) and Reo Griffiths (Lyon), have been prised away by German or French clubs in recent years.

Simms is also on the radar of international sides England, Poland and Jamaica, having yet to commit to any of the three nations for which he is eligible.
