According to Tuttomercatoweb, Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspur both want to sign Fiorentina striker Dusan Vlahovic – but the Serie A side will reject all bids.
It’s stated that new boss Vincenzo Italiano was told when he was taking the job that Fiorentina are adamant that Vlahovic will be staying for one more year.
Vlahovic has yet to sign a new deal at Fiorentina, meaning he could become a free agent in 2023, putting some pressure on La Viola to sell in the near future.
Arsenal and Tottenham want Vlahovic
The report names a number of clubs who want to sign Vlahovic, with Arsenal, Tottenham and Manchester United all allegedly looking to take him to England.
Arsenal may need a striker given that Alexandre Lacazette and Eddie Nketiah will be available for the right price as they enter the final year of their contracts.
As for Tottenham, they need to find a striker to at least serve as competition for Harry Kane. With question marks over Kane’s future though, they may end up needing to splash the cash – and a future star like Vlahovic makes sense.
Roma, Juventus and Sevilla are all thought to be interested too, but Fiorentina are planning to stand firm.

Vlahovic compared to Haaland and Zlatan
Vlahovic took Serie A by storm last season. With 21 goals in 37 league games for Fiorentina last season, the Serbian has emerged as one of the top young strikers in Europe.
Ex-Fiorentina and Partizan Belgrade ace Stevan Jovetic recently compared Vlahovic to Erling Haaland, backing him to fight with the Norwegian for the tag of best striker in Europe over the coming years.
Valeri Bojinov even claims that Vlahovic thinks he is the new Zlatan Ibrahimovic, so if there is any indication that Fiorentina will ease their stance, Arsenal and Tottenham should be ready to make their move.
