Fiorentina are still looking at West Ham midfielder Pedro Obiang if Milan Badelj leaves this summer.
Fiorentina have turned their attention back to West Ham United’s Pedro Obiang, according to Italian publication Calciomercato, after being linked with the midfielder in January.
La Viola are preparing for the possibility of losing Milan Badelj this summer with the 28-year-old set to be out of contract and strongly linked with Roma, while AC Milan, Sevilla and Valencia are also thought to be interested.
If Badelj does leave the Stadio Artemio Franchi then Obiang is one of the potential targets the Florence club are looking at to fill the void left by the Croatian.
They have been impressed by the 25-year-old’s form for the Hammers since arriving at the Premier League club in the summer of 2015 and the Spaniard’s previous experience in Italy is also appealing.
Obiang spent seven years with Sampdoria after joining their academy in 2008 from Atletico Madrid’s back in his native Spain and so has a good knowledge of Serie A.
Inter Milan are also thought to be keen on the West Ham ace, while for Fiorentina the Gornik Zabrze youngster Szymon Zurkowski is also on their radar.
