Wolves are set to be busy in the transfer market this summer.

Wolves are expected to be busy in this summer’s transfer window and have already made seven signings, one of which has already left the club following Benik Afobe’s bizarre move to Stoke City.
Alongside Afobe, Wolves have completed permanent deals for Leo Bonatini, Diogo Jota and Willy Boly, as well as bringing Portugal’s number one Rui Patricio, left-back Ruben Vinagre and striker Raul Jimenez to the club.

But they are yet to bring a central midfielder to the club, despite the loss of Alfred N’Diaye, with a permanent deal for the Villarreal midfielder seemingly off the cards.

However, Wolves are said to be after Sporting Lisbon hardman Rodrigo Battaglia, according to Portuguese outlet O Jogo, as they look to add a steeliness in the middle of the park alongside Ruben Neves.
But now, they face an uphill battle to land the uncapped Argentinian, who clocked up a huge 57 league and cup appearances last season alongside Patricio. That is because Lisbon have offered the midfielder to Serie A side Fiorentina.

Sky Italy journalist Gianluca Di Marzio claims just that, with Lisbon supposedly looking to offload a first-team regular despite the player not being one of those to request the cancellation of his contract after a training-ground raid.
Wolves have brought in Boly, Patricio and Jimenez from Portuguese sides, but they must act quickly if they are to make another signing from Liga NOS with Fiorentina leading the way for Battaglia.
