Wolverhampton Wanderers and Barcelona are among the clubs reportedly interested in Filipe Luis.

According to Goal.com, Wolverhampton Wanderers have made an offer for Atletico Madrid defender Filipe Luis.

Luis is out of contract at Spanish club Atletico this summer and is available on a free transfer.

The 33-year-old left-back returned to Atletico in the summer of 2015 for a second spell at the Spanish club after spending the 2014-15 campaign at Chelsea in the Premier League.

Goal.com has claimed that the Brazil international has an offer from Premier League outfit Wolves.

Nuno’s side, though, are not the only club who are reported to be interested in the former Ajax and Deportivo La Coruna defender.

Goal.com has claimed that French giants Paris Saint-Germain and Brazilian outfit Flamengo have made offers to Luis, while Spanish and European powerhouse Barcelona want to bring him to Camp Nou.

With Barcelona and PSG reportedly interested in him, it is hard to see Luis snub them and move to Wolves, as he would be competitive for major titles with Barca and the Parisian outfit.

Luis won La Liga once and the Europa League twice with Atletico, and he also clinched the Premier League title with Chelsea in 2014-15.

Filipe Luis runs during a training session of the Brazilian national football team at the squad's Granja Comary training complex on June 01, 2019 in Teresopolis, Brazil.
