Llorente’s Spurs deal expires in the summer and is the subject of plenty of reported interest.

TalkSPORT have claimed in an exclusive that Tottenham Hotspur striker Fernando Llorente is desperate to sign a new contract with the club – despite being the subject of interest from elsewhere.
The 33-year-old is in the final months of his current Spurs contract and he has come under plenty of criticism from Spurs fans since he replaced Harry Kane as the club’s first-choice, available striker.
Kane is currently sidelined with a long-term ankle injury that is likely to keep him sidelined until at least March, after hobbling off during the 1-0 defeat to Manchester United in January.
World Cup winner Llorente did silence some critics with an excellent header against Watford on Wednesday night as Spurs came from behind to win 2-1, thanks to Llorente’s late header and Son Heung-min’s equaliser.

He has now taken his tally to six goals in 17 appearances this season, though Wednesday’s goal was his first in the Premier League this season. It remains to be seen if indeed Mauricio Pochettino wants to keep Llorente.
TalkSPORT claim that Llorente is interesting Turkish side Galatasaray as well as Chinese Super League sides, but the £75,000-a-week (Spotrac) target man is seemingly keen to remain at Spurs.
