According to The Sun, Queens Park Rangers are eyeing up Tim Sherwood as a possible replacement for Mark Warburton.
It’s claimed that Sherwood is a close friend of former Tottenham teammate Les Ferdinand, and he could be asked to step in.
Warburton has failed to win any of his last nine Championship games, taking just four points in that run.
QPR find themselves just two points clear of the relegation zone, and Warburton could lose his job if he can’t turn things around.
Sherwood is thought to be a key target if there is a change, potentially reuniting with Ferdinand at Loftus Road having also coached together at Spurs.
Sherwood allegedly wants £1million-a-year though, with his pay demands thought to be a major stumbling block.

The report also adds that QPR are trying to do a deal for Sheffield Wednesday striker Jordan Rhodes this month, given that he is a free agent at the end of the season.
Ferdinand seemingly wants to add Rhodes to help Lyndon Dykes and Macauley Bonne, believing that his experience and proven Championship record would be ideal for QPR moving forward – whether that’s under Warburton, Sherwood or anyone else.
