Cenk Tosun has scored just two Premier League goals all season for Everton and could reportedly be on his way back to Turkey.
Fenerbahce want to rescue Cenk Tosun from his Everton nightmare this summer, according to Fotomac.
A Turkish international striker who made his name during a prolific spell at Besiktas, Tosun has found goals much harder to come by since he swapped Istanbul for Merseyside in January 2018 for a hefty £27 million fee, as reported by Sky Sports.
He has scored just three times in 26 games in all competitions and has lost his place in the starting XI to Richarlison and Dominic Calvert-Lewin.
Fotomac claims that Fenerbahce, who have struggled badly this season though now look to have staved off the threat of relegation, are determined to enjoy a much better 2019/20 campaign and have identified Tosun as a marquee target.
The report adds that Fenerbahce president Ali Koc will hope to use his close friendship with Everton chairman Bill Kenwright to his advantage with Everton reportedly ready to accept a cut-price fee for one of their most disappointing signings in recent years.
Fotomac believes that Everton would accept just £12.8 million for Tosun, a £15 million loss as things stand.
