Fener have already been linked with a couple of Spurs stars.

Turkish outlet Sabah Sport have claimed that SuperLig giants Fenerbahce are keeping tabs on Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Moussa Sissoko this summer.

The 28-year-old midfielder remains somewhat a fringe player under Mauricio Pochettino, starting only 26 of his 47 league and cup appearances last season and finishing an entire 90 minutes just 14 times.

Fener have installed former Tottenham and Liverpool man Damien Comolli to the role of sporting director since their presidential election, and he is on the hunt for new, high-profile talent on the cheap.

It is believed that Comolli is after two other Spurs players as well, with Turkish newspaper A Spor claiming Comolli has made Georges-Kevin N’Koudou a top transfer target, while the same publication reckon Fener want Vincent Janssen back on loan.

Now, Sissoko has joined teammates N’Koudou and Janssen on Fener’s shopping list in a move that could see the Turkish outlet bring all three stars to the SuperLig.

Sissoko will be tempted by the fact that Fener could be playing Champions League football next season, after finishing second in the SuperLig last season – meaning they go into the hat for the third qualifying round.

But he is a favourite of Pochettino’s, who continues to persist with the 53-time France international despite his questionable form. He has even recently converted Sissoko into a central midfielder and that may see Pochettino keep him.
