Mitrovic was reportedly nearing a return to Fulham from Newcastle.

The 23-year-old was believed to be closing in on a £20million permanent move to Fulham, after starring with the west Londoners during the second half of last season – 12 goals in 17 Championship outings.
The Evening Standard reported just that, but a move is yet to go through and injury problems suffered by Roberto Soldado at Fener has now seen the Turkish side seemingly move for Mitrovic.
The former Anderlecht striker is currently enjoying an extended break after helping Serbia at the World Cup, where they faced Brazil, Costa Rica and Switzerland.

Mitrovic has failed to properly get going at Newcastle since his move to the north east in the summer of 2015, scoring 17 goals in 72 outings but is certainly capable of much more than that record.
It remains to be seen if indeed Mitrovic will move on loan to Fenerbahce, or Fulham will finally push through a deal to capture the hothead striker.
