Femi Fapetu has left Arsenal, and after training with Liverpool, the teenager will head to Manchester United, according to All Nigeria Soccer.

It has been reported that the teenage midfielder has followed his elder brother, Bayo Fapetu, in leaving Arsenal.

Fapetu, who recently played for the Arsenal Under-14 side, is training with Liverpool at the moment.

Then next week, the youngster, who is eligible to play for Nigeria, will head to Liverpool’s bitter rivals United and will train with them as well, according to the report.

Liverpool reportedly plan to hand Fapetu a youth football academy contract if everything goes well in training.

Fapetu is only a teenager, and it is clear that he would be playing for the youth team at Liverpool or United.

It will be interesting to see where the midfielder ends up.

All Nigeria Soccer claims that Fapetu is a versatile and highly-rated midfielder who can perform ‘multiple roles in the center of the pitch’.

That Liverpool and United have reportedly invited the teenager to train underlines just how good he is.

It is very important that Fapetu makes his decision carefully.

The teenager should go to the club where he is going to progress the most.

Fapetu is only in his teens, and at the moment, from a footballing perspective, his focus should be on where he can develop and progress the most as a footballer.
