Lazio midfielder Felipe Anderson has reportedly passed his medical at West Ham United.

Felipe Anderson of SS Lazio celebrates a second goal during the serie A match between SS Lazio and FC Internazionale at Stadio Olimpico on May 20, 2018 in Rome, Italy.

West Ham United could announce the signing of Felipe Anderson from Lazio in the next 48 to 72 hours, according to Sky Sports (Transfer Live blog, 14:56pm, Saturday, July 14, 2018).

It has been reported that Anderson has passed his medical at West Ham, who will have to pay Lazio a transfer fee of £42 million.

Good signing for West Ham United?

Anderson is a very good and creative attacking midfielder, and the Brazil international would be a brilliant signing for West Ham.

With Manuel Lanzini out injured, the former Santos star would be a perfect replacement for the Argentina international attacking midfielder.

The 25-year-old attacking midfielder scored four goals and provided seven assists in nine Serie A starts for Lazio during the 2018-19 campaign, according to WhoScored.

Meanwhile, according to reports in Milanlive.it and Laroma24.it, West Ham had made an offer of €38m (£33.61m) for AC Milan attacking midfielder Suso, but the former Liverpool man’s wage demands were too much and the Hammers moved for Anderson instead.
