According to the Guardian, Liverpool flop Mario Balotelli is in talks to FC Sion over a potential move to the Swiss side.
The striker is expected to leave Anfield before the end of this transfer window, after Jurgen Klopp made it clear that he needs to find a new club, as reported by BBC Sport.
It has been a disastrous spell on Merseyside, with him initially struggling under Brendan Rodgers and then spending last season on loan with AC Milan.

He also failed to impress with the Italian giants, managing just three goals in 23 games in all competitions.
He has been linked with a number of clubs this summer, mostly in Italy, but so far a move has not been secured.

However, it appears there is a new side interested in him as the Guardian report FC Sion are pursuing a deal.
Their president Christian Constantin has confirmed the news also, telling Ticinonews.ch: “I can confirm we’re discussing about a possible loan of Balotelli. We’re progressing but I can’t say yet if the transfer will be successful or not.”
Indeed, whether the Italian will be interested in the move is up for debate, with him likely hoping for something better than a team who finished sixth in the Swiss Super League last season.
