Portuguese outlet O Jogo have claimed that Liga NOS giants FC Porto are lining up a huge £14million bid to sign West Ham United midfielder Cheikhou Kouyate this summer.

Talks are believed to already be under way over a move for the 28-year-old to move to Portugal, as Manuel Pellegrini continues to completely revamp his West Ham side.

The report claims that Senegal World Cup star Kouyate will be sold by West Ham this summer and Porto are interested, but it remains to be seen if the Champions League outfit can afford the former Anderlecht star.

It is believed that at £14million, Porto may be priced out of a move. For a transfer to happen, it seems West Ham may have to be flexible on their asking price for the powerhouse central midfielder.

The Hammers have already brought in Jack Wilshere in the middle of the park, while also boasting Josh Cullen, Mark Noble, Edimilson Fernandes and Pedro Obiang.

Kouyate has a contract at the London Stadium until the summer of 2021, but Sky Sports claimed earlier this month that West Ham were looking to offload the midfielder.
