According to The Athletic, Richarlison is set for a medical ahead of a move to Tottenham Hotspur.
The Brazilian attacker has long been linked with a move to Spurs, and with Everton reportedly keen to get a deal done before the end of the month for financial reasons, this transfer has accelerated rather quickly.
Indeed, over the past 24 hours, a fee has been agreed in principle, while personal terms are also not expected to be an issue.
With everything almost in place, Richarlison is now set to undergo a medical, and should he pass these tests, it shouldn’t be long before he’s announced as a Tottenham player.
It’s no secret that Spurs have been keen to bolster their frontline this summer as links to the likes of Gabriel Jesus, Lautaro Martinez and Raheem Sterling have been persistent, but now, it looks as though they’ve got their man in the shape of Richarlison.
So, what type of player will Tottenham be getting?
Richarlison is, above anything else, a very unique footballer. As a Brazilian forward he has all of the flair and technical ability that you would expect from a South American striker, but he’s also a very physical forward who has cut his teeth in the English game.
Labelled ‘fantastic’ in the past, Richarlison certainly has what it takes to be a star at Tottenham, and while he probably won’t be the focal point of the attack due to the presence of Harry Kane and Heung-Min Son, he’ll be an excellent option for Antonio Conte.
