Everton are reportedly set to snap up Manchester City’s midfielder Fabian Delph.

According to the Daily Mail, Manchester City ace Fabian Delph underwent his medical with Everton on Saturday ahead of jetting out to Switzerland.
Delph, 29, has won two Premier League titles with City under Pep Guardiola, adapting his game from a midfielder with England to a left back with City.
Sadly, with Rodri and Angelino signed up, Delph has been pushed down the City pecking order, and a move now seems to be on the cards for the former Leeds man.
It’s claimed that Delph underwent a medical with Everton on Saturday, and will be jetting out to Switzerland to join up with Marco Silva’s side at their training base in Bagnes.
Silva allegedly sees Delph’s leadership as a vital addition to his Everton side, and with the move costing just £8.5million rising to £10million, the Toffees appear to have a reasonable deal.
Delph’s versatility should be one of the key factors. He can add depth in midfield, especially with questions over the futures of Morgan Schneiderlin and James McCarthy, whilst he can provide cover at left back too, with Leighton Baines likely to move on next year.

With experience of winning the Premier League title and playing at the World Cup with England, Delph could be a bargain for Everton, at a time when Marcel Brands is mostly looking for young players with resale value.
Delph doesn’t fit that bill at all, but provides a valuable veteran presence whilst still having plenty of years left in the fank, and this could be an absolute bargain for Silva, Brands and co.
