Thomas Tuchel’s Chelsea are reportedly prepared to let Timo Werner leave on loan, which will come as an encouraging update for Mikel Arteta’s Arsenal and Eddie Howe’s Newcastle United.
Arsenal want Chelsea forward Timo Werner
Both Arsenal and Newcastle have been linked with moves for Chelsea forward Werner in the summer transfer window.
According to Defensa Central, Arsenal are competing with Real Madrid and Juventus for the Germany international forward.
The Telegraph reported this week that Newcastle are keeping a close eye on the 26-year-old former RB Leipzig star – who is “an extremely fast player”, according to comments from Arsenal goalkeeper Bernd Leno in Sky Germany in 2020.

Available on loan
Well-known and well-respected journalist Fabrizio Romano has reported on Twitter that Chelsea are prepared to let Werner leave on loan in the summer transfer window.
The journalist has added that Juventus and RB Leipzig want the 26-year-old, but Newcastle have not yet opened direct talks.
Could a transfer happen?
Chelsea seem to be open to letting Timo Werner leave, but we think that Arsenal would find it hard to sign the German.
Werner will surely want to go to a team where he will play regularly.
Arsenal are well stocked in the attacking positions.
Yes, the Gunners could do with another striker, but Werner has struggled to score goals in the Premier League and seems better off playing out wide.
Moreover, Chelsea will surely not want to strengthen a direct rival such as Arsenal by sending them one of their better players.
