Reported Liverpool target Rodrigo De Paul believes that it is time for him to leave Udinese, according to a report in Mundo Deportivo.

Liverpool are leading the race for De Paul, according to TuttoUdinese last month.

The Argentina international is one of the better attacking midfielders in Serie A and has been described as someone who has “extraordinary technique” and who “knows the game of football” by former Udinese head coach Julio Velazquez in Tuttomercatoweb, as covered by HITC Sport.

Mundo Deportivo has claimed that the 26-year-old, who can also operate as a winger, is open to leaving Udinese at the end of the season, as he thinks that time has come for him to take the next step in his career.

Boost for Liverpool?

Negotiations with Udinese over a transfer fee could become easier if the player himself wants to leave.

According to WhoScored, De Paul has scored six goals and provided five assists in 28 Serie A games for Udinese so far this season.
