Ansu Fati does not fancy a move to Wolverhampton Wanderers, and this will come as a boost to Newcastle United’s chances of signing the Barcelona forward in the summer transfer window.
Newcastle target Ansu Fati’s stance on Wolverhampton Wanderers
According to Sport, Barcelona want Fati to move to Wolves in a deal involving Ruben Neves coming from the Premier League club to Camp Nou.
However, Fati himself does not fancy a move to the Wanderers.
Wolves have been fighting for survival in the Premier League for much of the season and will not play in the UEFA Champions League next season.
Boost for Newcastle
Fati’s stance will come as a boost to Newcastle’s chances of signing the 20-year-old in the summer transfer window.
Eddie Howe’s side have been linked with the Barcelona forward.

Journalist Dean Jones told GiveMeSport in April that Newcastle are interested in signing the 20-year-old, described as “extraordinary” by Barcelona head coach Xavi in October 2022.
Newcastle are very likely to finish in the top four of the Premier League table this season and will feature in the UEFA Champions League next campaign.
If Barcelona want to get rid of Fati in the summer of 2023, then, in our view, a move to St. James’ Park would appeal to the youngster.
After all, Newcastle are a very progressive club who have grand plans for the future.
The chance to play for the Magpies and win major trophies with them in the coming years could be very tempting for Fati.
