Sport have reported that Real Madrid winger Marco Asensio is waiting for an offer from Jurgen Klopp’s Liverpool amid interest from Mikel Arteta’s Arsenal among other clubs.

Arsenal, Manchester United, Juventus and AC Milan all are interested in signing Asensio from La Liga and UEFA Champions League winners Madrid in the summer transfer window, according to Sport.
The Spanish publication has claimed that the Spain international winger is waiting for an offer from Liverpool before making a decision on his future.
Mundo Deportivo reported last month that Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta has told his bosses at the Gunners to sign the 26-year-old, who can also operate as an attacking midfielder and was described by Madrid head coach Carlo Ancelotti as “a player with extraordinary quality” in AS in April 2022.
AS reported in June that Liverpool have informed Asensio’s entourage that they like him and want to sign him this summer.
What happens now?
It will be interesting to see what Marco Asensio will do if indeed Liverpool make an offer for the Arsenal target this summer.
Now, we know that the Spaniard is a very good winger who has won the La Liga and the UEFA Champions League regularly with Madrid over the past few years.
However, Asensio struggled for playing time at Madrid last season, and you wonder how keen he will be to move to Liverpool and face the same, if not more, competition for a place in the starting lineup.
