West Bromwich Albion face the Premier League champions Leicester City on Saturday.
West Bromwich Albion’s Matt Phillips
A report from the Express and Star has suggested that West Brom will have to take on Leicester on Saturday without both Matt Phillips and Hal Robson-Kanu after the pair suffered injuries in training.
According to the Express and Star, both Robson-Kanu and Phillips limped out of training with hamstring problems and are now set to miss the clash with the Premier League champions at the Hawthorns.
The news will undoubtedly be a blow for Tony Pulis’ men with the winger arguably being the Baggies’ most creative player throughout the campaign while Robson-Kanu had recently been enjoying a run in the starting line-up with Salomon Rondon struggling for form.
The setback will be especially frustrating for Phillips, who has only just returned to the team following a similar injury that ruled him out for much of February and all of March.

The 26-year-old would have undoubtedly been looking forward to facing the Foxes as it was arguably against the same opposition earlier in the season where he really demonstrated for the first time what a tremendous piece of business the club had done signing him in the first place.
Phillips set up the first and scored the winner in the 2-1 win, and has since gone on to prove to be a key man for the Baggies throughout the campaign.
