The former Hibernian defender is reportedly wanted by Sheffield Wednesday and Cardiff City.

Hibernian have no plans to re-sign the Sheffield Wednesday and Cardiff City linked defender, Efe Ambrose, according to the Sun.
Ambrose engineered his release from the Scottish side earlier this month and is said to have interest from various clubs – including Wednesday and Cardiff (Teamtalk) – in English football and overseas.
But the 30-year-old has yet to find a new club, and his appearance at Hibs’ game against Elgin on Saturday sparked rumours that he was set to return to Easter Road.
The Sun states, however, that Ambrose: “attended the match purely as a supporter” and “borrowed (a Hibernian) jacket after being caught out by the freezing Scottish weather”.

Whether Sheffield Wednesday and Cardiff are indeed pursuing the Nigerian’s signature remains to be seen.
His position is not one in which Wednesday currently find themselves short, although Cardiff could be without the former Owls centre-back target, Sean Morrison, for up to six weeks following reports of a burst appendix.
Would Ambrose be a good addition for Sheffield Wednesday / Cardiff City?
