According to The Daily Mail, Leeds United head coach Marcelo Bielsa has signed Barry Douglas from Wolverhampton Wanderers so that he can play a three-back defence.

It has been reported that Bielsa signed Douglas so that he can play a three-at-the-back formation at Leeds this season.

The 28-year-old is a left-back by trade, but the Scotland international can also operate as a left wing-back.

Good signing for Leeds United?

Douglas was one of the best players for Wolves last season and was one of the best left-backs in the Championship, and he played an important role in the Wanderers gaining automatic promotion to the Premier League.

During the 2017-18 campaign, Douglas made 38 starts and one substitute appearance in the Championship for Wolves, scoring five goals and providing 14 assists in the process, according to WhoScored.
