The talented Juventus striker was a target for Leeds in January.

In January Leeds United were linked with a move for Juventus striker Moise Kean, who is currently out on loan at Hellas Verona.
Gianluca di Marzio reported that Leeds United had made an enquiry with Juventus about signing Kean on loan until the end of the season, cancelling the deal with Verona in the process.
No deal came about and Leeds moved on. Now it has been reported why such a deal didn’t happen. As relayed by Il Biancenero the deal fell through for two reasons. Firstly, Juventus were not keen on the buy-out clause Leeds had wanted inserted into any temporary deal which would see him join the club at an agreed price if certain criteria were met. They also did not want to break up his loan stint with Verona halfway through the season.

The result is that 17-year-old Kean, who has scored four goals this season, is likely to remain a Juventus player for the foreseeable future.
His talent would have undoubtedly been welcomed at Elland Road. Just this week Kean’s agent Mino Raiola was talking up his valuation. Speaking in reaction to Monaco’s £17 million swoop for 16-year-old Genoa strike Pietro Pellegri he was quoted by Tuttomercatoweb as stating:
“Kean is worth 75 (million euros) then, for me he is stronger than Pellegri.”
That equates to a £65 million valuation. Leeds could have certainly done with such talent against Cardiff City yesterday.
