The Bournemouth striker is said to feature on Crystal Palace’s wanted list.

Bournemouth will block Benik Afobe’s £15 million Crystal Palace move if one of their other strikers is ruled out long-term, the Daily Star reports on page 51 of its printed edition on Friday.
According to the Sun, Palace want to sign Afobe in January, after the DR Congo international fell down the pecking order at Bournemouth.

Jermain Defoe is one of those currently keeping him out of the side, but suffered suspected ankle ligament damage during the Cherries’ 2-1 League Cup defeat at Chelsea on Wednesday.
And that could offer Afobe a route back into Eddie Howe’s Bournemouth plans, which could leave Crystal Palace needing alternative plans.

The 24-year-old, of whom Palace boss Roy Hodgson is said to be a big fan from his time with England, has scored 10 goals from 30 Premier League starts since his £12 million move from Wolverhampton Wanderers 22 months ago.
Palace failed to add to their striking options during the summer transfer window and were made to pay when Christian Benteke joined Connor Wickham on the sidelines in recent months.
