Wilmar Barrios appears to be pushing for a move to Tottenham.

Colombia World Cup midfielder Wilmar Barrios appears to be ready to try and push through a move to Tottenham Hotspur.
That implies he is ready to move and has agreed personal terms, as previously reported by Colombian outlet Antena 2.

Barrios’ willingness to push through a move will help speed the transfer along, as Davinson Sanchez did at Ajax last season by going on strike.
All that would be left now is for Boca and Tottenham to agree a price.

Barrios is one of six foreigners in the Boca Juniors squad, the maximum they are permitted.
In recent days they have been attempting to sign a seventh, Gustavo Gomez of AC Milan.
Gomez underwent a medical at Boca this week but Gianluca Di Marzio reports the deal is at risk of falling through over a sell-on clause in the contract.
Whether he ultimately signs or not, it offers insight into Boca’s plans, and suggest they are preparing to sell one of their foreign players, most likely the wantaway Barrios.
