Everton boss reportedly was snubbed by Manchester United bound striker, and reacted angrily.
Everton boss Ronald Koeman was snubbed by his own striker yesterday, The Mail reports, with Romelu Lukaku refusing to pick up the phone to the Dutchman.
Koeman reportedly called Lukaku several times to ask the forward why he had not returned for pre-season training.
While the answer may have been obvious with him on holiday in the US, Koeman still wanted an honest chat with the Belgium international.

Manchester United are closing in on a move to sign Lukaku, but Koeman was claimed by The Mail to be ‘furious’ that he was snubbed by his own player.
Lukaku is not expected back in Merseyside today either, with The Guardian reporting he is set to undergo a medical in Los Angeles to fast track his move to Manchester United.
It appears soon the pair will be playing alongside each other for the Red Devils, with the decision taken by Everton to cash in on the striker.
