West Ham United are reportedly keen on Juan Cuadrado.
According to Tuttosport, West Ham United are interested in Juventus winger Juan Cuadrado – but he’s not keen on a move back to England.
The Hammers beat Tottenham Hotspur on Saturday afternoon, but look unlikely to break back in the European football for next season.
Manuel Pellegrini will subsequently want reinforcements this summer, and another winger is seemingly on the radar ahead of the transfer window.
Tuttosport now claim that West Ham – as well as Watford – are keen on signing Juventus winger Cuadrado, with a fee of around €20million (£17million) needed for his signature.
However, it’s noted that Cuadrado isn’t too interested in a move back to England, having endured such a dismal time in the Premier League with Chelsea.
The Colombian speedster, now 30, joined Chelsea from Fiorentina in February 2015, but struggled to make an impact under Jose Mourinho before heading off on loan to Juventus just months later.
An extended loan spell led to a permanent move, and he has now hit 14 goals in 133 games for the Turin giants, winning four Serie A titles in the process.
Cuadrado has started just 10 league games this season though, and could move on this summer – but West Ham’s chances of luring back to London appear slim after his Chelsea nightmare.
