Jokanovic led Watford to the Premier League before taking the reins at Fulham.

A report published by El Mundo Deportivo on Monday makes for interesting reading if you’re a fan of either Fulham or Watford.
It claims that Slavisa Jokanovic, the Fulham and ex-Watford manager, is being considered by Espanyol should their current boss depart.
And who is Espanyol’s current boss? Why, none other than Quique Sanchez Flores – the man who succeeded Jokanovic at Vicarage Road.

Jokanovic led Watford to the Premier League in his only season in charge of the Hornets, who took the surprising step of failing to renew the Serbian’s contract shortly afterwards.
Flores was subsequently sworn in and led the Hertfordshire side to 13th the following campaign, only to find himself replaced – by Walter Mazzarri – in summer 2016.

And according to El Mundo Deportivo, the 52-year-old could again be on the move – even if it’s not right away – with Espanyol struggling in 16th position.
If and when that time does arrive, Jokanovic – who played in Spain – may get a chance to turn the tables on Flores.
