The player’s agent is reportedly holding proceedings to a slower pace.
Everton’s move to sign Algerian striker Ishak Belfodil are being delayed by negotiations with the player’s agent, according to the Liverpool Echo.
It is reported that Everton have agreed a £10.5 million fee with his club Standard Liege and that a deal is still very much on the cards. However, it may be a couple of days before Everton can finalise the move as they continue to haggle with his representative.

In Belgium however there have been reports that Everton might be doubting whether a move for the player is a good fit for the club – as reported by Voetbal Krankt.
But the Echo confirmed that Everton recruitment chief Steve Walsh is a big fan of Belfodil and believes a deal should go through.
The 25-year-old Algerian international has enjoyed a good start to the new season, scoring eight goals in 19 appearances for the club.

In the past he has featured for the likes of Inter Milan, Parma and Baniyas but has never settled anywhere an Everton are rolling the dice slightly in this move.
But Walsh’s judgement was very sound during his time at Leicester City and Everton will hope he is gain here.
