Neil Lennon’s Celtic want to sign David Turnbull from Motherwell in the summer transfer window.

Celtic’s stance
Celtic have announced on their official Twitter page that although they have agreed on a fee with Motherwell regarding the transfer of Turnbull, their offer to the midfielder’s agent is not being deemed good enough.
The Glasgow giants have threatened to walk away if the 19-year-old and his agent does not accept their current offer.
David Turnbull’s concerns
According to The Express, Turnbull is not impressed with Celtic’s offer, as he feels that it suggests that the Hoops do not think that he will play a major role under manager Neil Lennon next season.
The report has claimed that the Scotland Under-21 international knows about interest in him from other clubs such as Barnsley, Bristol City and Southampton and may not leave Motherwell this summer, with Sky Sports adding that the youngster is keeping his options open.

Promising talent
Turnbull scored 15 goals in the Scottish Premiership for Motherwell this past season, according to The Express, and the teenager could become a star in the coming years and would be a brilliant long-term signing for Celtic.
