According to the Scottish Daily Mail (27/06, 2018), Celtic will only make a concrete offer for Joe Hart once they know Fraser Forster won’t return.

It’s claimed that Celtic have entered talks to sign goalkeeper Hart, who has been told that he isn’t receiving a new deal at Burnley.

The former England international will become a free agent this summer as a result, and Celtic are interested in luring him to Parkhead.

However, Celtic allegedly don’t plan to make a ‘concrete offer’ to Hart until they believe a deal for Southampton stopper Forster is completely dead.

Celtic are hoping to bring Southampton stopper Forster back to Parkhead on another year-long loan deal, but the Saints have been ‘inflexible’ with their demands.

The Bhoys seemingly want to wait for the Englishman, but have a second-choice target lined up in Hart, who they can sign for nothing.

The 33-year-old has completely lost his way since Euro 2016, as he lost his spot at Manchester City, failed to impress on loan at Torino and West Ham United and then made just 24 appearances for Burnley.

Sean Dyche is now ready to let Hart leave, but he faces a wait to learn whether Celtic are actually making him a contract offer this summer.
