The Portuguese failed to impress during his time in charge of Tottenham Hotspur.

According to a report from French media outlet France Football, one-time Tottenham boss Andre Villas-Boas is on the verge of being named as the new Marseille manager on a two-year £120,000 per week deal.
The Portuguese flopped during his time in charge at Spurs, and was sacked in December 2013, just 17 months after taking over at White Hart Lane.
Since then, Villas-Boas has enjoyed spells in charge of Zenit Saint Petersburg in Russia and Shanghai SIPG in China, but it now seems as though he will be heading to France.
France Football reports that the 41-year-old has already agreed to take over at Marseille, and he will be paid €600,000 per month (£120,000 per week).

Villas-Boas still has a lot of work to do if he is to repair his damaged reputation after failed stints at both Tottenham and Chelsea.
It seems as though he will be given a great chance to do just that in Ligue 1 with Marseille.
And Tottenham fans will surely be keeping a close eye on his progress.
