According to La Razon, former Leeds United loanee Alfonso Pedraza is now wanted by Chelsea in a potentially huge summer move.
It’s claimed that Chelsea want to part ways with both Marcos Alonso and Emerson this summer, and then sign a new left wing back to compete with Ben Chilwell.
The player they have picked out as a prime target is Pedraza, who is currently excelling under Unai Emery with Villarreal.
Pedraza has a €35million (£30million) release clause in his Villarreal contract, and Chelsea may have to pay up to lure the Spaniard to Stamford Bridge.
The 25-year-old has picked up one goal and four assists in 27 games this season, and may have the chance to shine against Arsenal in the Europa League tonight.
This must be unbelievable news for Leeds United fans, who saw Pedraza join them on loan from Villarreal back in the 2017 January transfer window.

Pedraza was a winger back then, and he barely made an impact with the Whites, scoring just once in 14 games under Garry Monk whilst failing to register a single assist.
He has adapted his game to become more of a left back or left wing back, and has shown his quality with Villarreal as well as on loan at Alaves and Real Betis.
This could all lead to the former Leeds loanee heading back to England in a move that new Whites fans could have predicted just four years ago.
