According to Mundo Deportivo, Everton have decided to send Yerry Mina out on loan in the summer transfer window.

It has been reported that Fenerbahce are interested in signing Mina on loan from Everton this summer.

The report has claimed that the 24-year-old Colombia international central defender will join the Turkish giants after Copa America.

Disappointing Everton spell

Mina joined Everton from Spanish and European giants Barcelona in the summer of 2018 for a transfer fee reported by BBC Sport to be worth £27.19 million.

Much was expected of the Colombian centre-back when he arrived at Goodison Park, but 24-year-old struggled to make an impact at the Toffees.

According to WhoScored, Mina made 10 starts and three substitute appearances in the Premier League for Everton this campaign, scoring one goal in the process.

It seems that Everton manager Marco Silva has given up on the former Palmeiras defender, and it is hard to see him have a long-term future at the Premier League if he goes out on loan for the 2019-20 campaign.
