Aston Villa and Middlesbrough have been linked with a move for Everton’s Yannick Bolasie.

The Birmingham Mail has reported that Everton winger Yannick Bolasie would prefer to join Aston Villa over Middlesbrough this summer.
Aston Villa and Middlesbrough are heavily linked with the out-of-favour Everton winger, who has been excluded from both of Marco Silva’s matchday squads in the Premier League so far.
The Northern Echo reported on Tuesday that Boro were favourites to sign the 29-year-old, who earns £75,000 per week at Goodison Park [Spotrac].
However, The Birmingham Mail reckons that Aston Villa are in pole position after the publication revealed that Villa Park was his preference.
The report adds that the Villans could tie up a deal for Bolasie in the next 24 hours.
Bolasie is even in Birmingham and spent last night in the city to continue ‘mulling’ over the prospect of joining up with Steve Bruce’s side.
Signing a player of that quality would be exceptional for Villa’s hopes of Premier League promotion and the club’s fanbase will be desperate to see it materialise.
