Everton midfielder Morgan Schneiderlin is reportedly on the radar of Marseille in the summer transfer window.

It has been reported that the former Manchester United midfielder is among four players new Everton manager Marco Silva wants to sell, with Ashley Williams, Yannick Bolasie and Wayne Rooney claimed to be the other three.

Schneiderlin was a massive success at Southampton but the 28-year-old defensive midfielder failed to make a huge impact at Manchester United.

Much was expected of the France international when he joined Everton in January 2017 for an initial transfer fee reported by The Guardian to be worth £20m.

The 28-year-old has failed to play consistently well for the Toffees, and it really should not come as a surprise if the defensive midfielder – who earns £120,000 per week as salary according to Spotrac.com – does move to Marseille in the summer transfer window.
Marseille are one of France’s biggest clubs and will play in the group stage of the Europa League next season, having finished fourth in Ligue 1 in 2017-18.
