Barcelona are reportedly expecting to meet with Marcel Brands soon.

According to Mundo Deportivo, Everton director of football Marcel Brands is expected to travel to Barcelona in the coming weeks to discuss a deal for Andre Gomes.
The Toffees were in regular contact with Barcelona over the summer, landing three of their players before the August transfer deadline.
Lucas Digne and Yerry Mina arrived permanently to bolster the defensive options, before midfielder Gomes joined on loan for the season.
Gomes, 25, took a while to get going due to fitness and injury concerns, but has now made 19 Premier League starts, notching a goal and an assist.
The Portugal international has rebuilt his career with Everton, and fans are desperate to see such a classy playmaking midfielder stay at Goodison Park for the long term.
Now, Mundo Deportivo claim that Barcelona are expecting to meet with Everton director of football Marcel Brands in the coming weeks for talks about a permanent deal for Gomes.

Brands will head to Barcelona to try and thrash out a deal, though it’s unclear just how much the Catalan giants will demand despite him having absolutely no future at the Camp Nou.
One man who would be delighted with a deal is Everton boss Marco Silva, as he loves Gomes, making him a key part of his midfield whilst telling The Independent that he thinks he is a ‘high-quality’ player.
