The Times has claimed that Baines has been linked with Portland Timbers, but the report has stated that the England international left-back is bemused by speculation over his future.

The report has also stated that the 33-year-old left-back has return to training before pre-season officially begins so that he can be in the best possible condition for the 2018-19 Premier League campaign with Everton.

Everton stay?
Baines is a very good left-back, and although he is 33 years of age, he can still carry on playing for Everton for a couple of more years at least.
It is hard to see the former Wigan Athletic left-back, who earns £70,000 per week as salary according to Spotrac.com, leave Everton for a club in the MLS this summer.
