Everton midfielder Antony Evans will reportedly join one of the League One sides on loan for the rest of the season.

The 20-year-old is one of the exciting youngsters currently coming through at Goodison Park. But despite featuring regularly for the under-23s, he is yet to make his senior bow for the Toffees.
And it appears that that chance in Marco Silva’s side may not come this season. The Sun on Sunday (06/01; page 63) reports that the attacking midfielder is set to head out on loan and will decide between Blackpool and the Sky Blues.
Both interested sides are on the periphery of the promotion discussion in League One right now. Coventry sit eighth in the table, seven points off the top six, while Blackpool – who were beaten 3-0 in their FA Cup third round tie with Arsenal on Saturday – are 10 points back of the play-off spots, but have a game in hand over all but one of the teams above them.

It is not a huge surprise that the two clubs are looking at a player like Evans, who has scored three goals in nine Premier League 2 games this season.
The only top-half side to have scored fewer goals than Coventry this term is Blackpool, so they will be hoping that the youngster can provide some additional creativity to their ranks.
