Everton striker Shayne Lavery is reportedly set to move to Falkirk in the January transfer window.
It has been reported that the Northern Ireland international striker will join Scottish Championship club Lavery on loan for the rest of the season.
Sensible move
Lavery joined Everton from Glenavon in 2016 and has yet to make an appearance for the Everton senior team.
The 20-year-old needs to play regular first-team football, and it does make sense for the striker to switch to Falkirk on loan in the January transfer window.
Falkirk are struggling for survival in the second tier of Scottish football at the moment, and they could do with a striker of Lavery’s talent and potential.
It is going to be hard for Lavery to establish himself in the Everton first team, but the 20-year-old does have the potential, and a loan spell in Scotland could help him take manager Marco Silva take notice of him next season.
