La Liga full-back Santiago Arias could be set to work with Marcel Brands again at Premier League outfit Everton.

Everton are prepared to hand Atletico Madrid a massive profit for Santiago Arias by paying £35 million for the swashbuckling full-back, according to El Gol Digital.
Arias is just one of many right-sided defenders who have been linked with The Toffees, who appear to have opened the door for a new signing by loaning academy graduate Jonjoe Kenny to Schalke earlier this month.
The Liverpool Echo report that the Colombian international has emerged as a top target with Everton’s director of football Marcel Brands hoping to sign him for the second time.
Brands was in charge of recruitment at PSV Eindhoven when Arias moved to Holland from Sporting Lisbon back in 2011.
And, speaking to PSV’s official website four years ago, Brands described the attack-minded South American as the perfect modern-day full-back while lauding his pace and power.

But how much are Everton prepared to offer to reunite Brands with Arias this summer?
Well, El Gol Digital claims that they could make a £35 million offer though it remains to be seen if Atletico are willing to sell a player they bought for £11 million a year ago with fellow right-back Juanfran already leaving the Wanda Metropolitano.
