Everton reportedly want to make the Chelsea defender’s loan move a permanent one at the end of the season.

According to a report form the Sun, Everton are willing to pay £30 million to sign Kurt Zouma permanently from Chelsea in the summer.
The Frenchman joined the Toffees from the west London outfit on a season-long loan in the summer, and he has really impressed at Goodison Park, chalking up 30 appearances in all competitions for Marco Silva’s side.
Everton desperately need to bring in more youth in the central defensive department, with Phil Jagielka nearing the end of his career, and Zouma, 24, would be just the ticket.
The Sun claims that Silva is keen to make the former St-Etienne defender’s move to Merseyside a permeant one in the summer, and is prepared to pay £30 million to make a deal happen.

The British tabloid also goes on to suggest that Chelsea will be willing to do business for that fee.
And in today’s day and age, £30 million for a player of Zouma’s ilk must surely be considered as excellent value for money for Everton.
