Pearce was signed by Leeds United after leaving Everton’s academy four years ago.

Everton want to re-sign Tom Pearce from Leeds United, according to the Sun on Sunday (May 13th, page 63).
Pearce made his senior debut for Leeds earlier this season, four years after his release by Everton.
But the Toffees are said to want to bring back the 20-year-old as Leighton Baines’ long-term replacement.

Pearce is out of contract at Leeds this summer, and could be signed without the Yorkshire club’s blessing.
However, Leeds will be due compensation for the Ormskirk native – if they at least offer him a new deal on equal or greater terms to his existing one.
The Sun on Sunday report states that Pearce would stand a greater chance of regular football at Elland Road.

Although, Everton have handed opportunities to several young talents in recent years, which could encourage Pearce to return.
